Facilities
Batchelor's office is located at 3110 Old Shell Road in Mobile, Alabama, just off of Interstate 65. The 30,000 square foot facility houses all management, design and accounting personnel as well as a warehouse, training facility, customer service, sheet metal and custom fabrication shops. A fleet of over 100 trucks is also maintained at this facility. The staff consists of engineers, project managers, field supervisors, foremen, management, accounting, service representatives and warehouse personnel.
A 10,000 square foot warehouse stores and distributes piping, sheet metal and mechanical equipment and material. The warehouse is connected to a 12,500 square foot sheet metal fabrication shop which has a state of the art computer fitting cutting machine, power brakes, manual brakes and power shears. The shop also contains a six position, 16 gauge coil line, a transverse duct flange machine and other peripheral sheet metal and duct machinery. A 2500 square foot custom fabrication shop contains various welding equipment, iron workers, rollers, shears and cutting machines. The machinery aids Batchelor's skilled craftsmen in handling clients request for different metals, structural supports or other sheet metal components for the custom fabrication of any sheet metal or piping product.
The service and maintenance division has computer dispatched service fleets operating in Northwest Florida, Mississippi Gulf Coast and along the Alabama coastal region. Retrofits, upgrades, redesign and system revisions along with scheduled maintenance and emergency services are handled by a competent staff and trained technicians.
Batchelor's believes the best way to provide a safe job site and a quality product is through an educated work force. That is why Batchelor's continually conducts training, safety workshops and seminars. These seminars and workshops are conducted by industrial representatives, company officers, professors and safety experts. All company employees attend an industrial safety orientation that is updated annually. The in-house training facility consists of a classroom which holds 50 students as well as the capacity to show video lectures and provide hands on training in the shop and technician areas.
